Location: the hotel was near beach as well as Dorset. And it's just a short walk away from Terroir Tapas, ate there once or twice. The room was newly remodelled with the bedroom, stunning views, comfortable...

Although we did not pay a great deal for the hotel, we were not given a poky room at the back but had a lovely large room with a sea view from 2 windows. The bathroom was spacious...

The beds are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is a decent size, the Commodore is right opposite the beach, which is down a steep slope but there is a lift.
The Commodore offers a comfortable bed and a decent breakfast, but it badly needs a lick of paint and new carpets, it feels run down, the staff work hard, they are mostly Polish, it's called a Hotel but it's pub that offers accommodation. The pub is full of locals in the evening.

Excellent sea view room, very good staff cheerful and obliging, nice relaxing atmosphere, everyone made time to look after us - we were not just numbers as in some places we have stayed in
Steps up to entrance difficult for disabled guests, long wait each time for someone to attend reception - needs a bell, special diets not catered for, rooms extremely cold; however the new manager assured us he would do what he could to address these issues, and they did not spoil our stay at all

I liked the style, athmosphere and old world charme. The view of our room over the sea was breathtaking. Access to the beach is easy and to have the pub right in the hotel is very convienient. Excellent breakfast....
